8 October 2013 - Since 2010, the Life Science Open Space meetings have been taking place in Krakow Poland. Life Science Open Space is an international event aimed to create the opportunity to exchange information, present ideas, meet potential partners and build partnerships in order to further develop innovations in biotechnology and life sciences.
The focus of this year’s forum: Promote innovative solutions in the field of life sciences (English site)
The event took place October 8th, at the Student Cultural Center at the Agricultural University of Krakow. It is viewed by participants and the organizing committee as the preface to the start of new business relationships for companies incubating within the Klaster LifeScience Krakow Foundation and Jagiellonian Center of Innovation.
Participating companies gave presentations on how each was in practice applying Open Innovation in their companies and market space. A jury made up of experts in innovation, collaboration and business development reviewed and critiqued each presentation. The jury was composed of three members, Ania K. Knap (New England PharmAssociates), Agnieszka Gaczkowska (Singularity University) and Kazimierz Murzyn (LifeScience Cluster Krakow Foundation).From left: Kazimierz Murzyn (Foundation LifeScience Cluster Krakow, Ania K.
